Heath Tully - Creative Maverick since 1983

Hi. Thanks for dropping in.

I have been described as 'an inspiration' (Sunday Mail), 'an unusual character' (The Sunrise TV breakfast show) and someone who takes 'thinking one step further' (M Magazine). Not sure how true they all are, but ever since I spoke my first word (the number 'seven') I have felt like I am just a little bit different.

Read about me to find out more, get in touch or find me online.

All the best,
Heath

  • about car

When I was 18 I worked for a car wash company responsible for cleaning all the cars of a particular dealership. I negotiated a deal with the owner of the dealership to take over the contract and work directly with him, rather than the company, resulting in a 33% salary increase.

  • about card

I am a massive fan of cards, board games and anything else in that genre of entertainment. If you ever need a fourth player to make up a game of 500 or Settlers of Catan, get in touch.

  • about handcuffs

In year 12 I was presented with the 'Most likely to be arrested by the Fashion Police' award.

  • about buddha

I believe in karma, have completed a five-week course in Buddhism, and stayed at a Buddhist temple in Japan.

  • about painting

I enjoy painting, but don't do it nearly often enough. My favourite artist is Van Gogh.

  • about plane

I once flew to Sweden from Australia for one weekend for the sole purpose of delivering a cassette tape to an engineer, and to Sydney to watch 25 minutes of an un-edited Transformer movie at Paramount Studios, six months before it was released. Both were for work!

  • about orange socks

My favourite colour is orange, and I wear orange socks almost every day.

  • about favourite quote

My favourite quote is: 'If at first an idea does not seem absurd, there is no hope for it' - Albert Einstein

  • about television

I have been featured in national TV, press and radio for my six-year goal to complete 183 goals before I turn 30, called Project 183 - www.project183.com.

  • about tie

At 19, I beat 300 applicants to secure one of two positions available at General Motors (GM) Australia. At 23, I landed a level 8 role in marketing, a level rarely awarded to someone of my age, and at 24 I was the joint winner of the GM Director's Award for my part in securing $1 million in additional sales.

  • about violin

I played violin for 13 years, and have performed at the Sydney Opera House.

  • about tree

I am a closet greenie, and once created a deal between Saab and Greenfleet that led to over 50,000 trees being planted in Australia.
